Jack Klens, PA-C

John Klens, PA-C (Jack)

Functional Medicine Practitioner

John Klens is a board-certified Physician Assistant and graduate of Duquesne University with extensive clinical experience in emergency medicine and trauma surgery. After years on the front lines of acute care and seeing the medical challenges of a loved one, Jack became increasingly aware of a critical gap in conventional medicine—its tendency to treat disease only after it appears, often without addressing the root causes.

Motivated to create lasting change for his patients, Jack pursued advanced training through the Kalish Institute of Functional Medicine. Today, he focuses on a root-cause, systems-based approach to care that supports the body’s natural healing processes. His treatment plans are grounded in six foundational pillars of wellness: nutrition, light, movement, sleep, stress management, and toxin reduction.

Jack utilizes comprehensive lab testing—particularly in neuroendocrine, gastrointestinal, and hepatic detoxification systems—to develop personalized supplementation protocols. His clinical expertise is paired with a deep commitment to empowering patients to take an active role in their healing.

At New Life Wellness Clinic, Jack helps patients restore balance, optimize function, and achieve long-term wellness—whether through hormone balancing, inflammation reduction, gut repair, or detoxification. His ultimate goal is to move beyond symptom management and help individuals thrive in health and in life.
